The news of a new Chucky movie really went into overdrive a little over a week ago when a plot synopsis for "Curse of Chucky" was released online. The film is set to be straight-to-DVD from Universal Home Entertainment and will be helmed by Child's Play creator Don Mancini. Filming is set to begin in September.
Actress Tuesday Knight (Kisten, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master) took to her Facebook page www.facebook.com/#!/tuesdaylknight just hours after the news broke and commented on her desire to be in the new film, "Always wanted to star in a "Child's Play" movie. I hear Don Mancini is doing another film...I want to be apart of it."
Knight's comment electrified fans who shared the same enthusiam for her being in the new film. She encouraged her more than 5,000 Facebook fans to write to Don Mancin asking him to cast her.
Earlier this week, a new page called "Tuesday Knight for the new Chucky movie" www.facebook.com/#!/TuesdayKnightForTheNewChuckyMovie appeared on Facebook. The goal is to reach 10,000 likes and share it with Don Mancini in time to get Tuesday in the film. What do you guys think? Would she be good in curse. I'm not a fan of her elm street 4 performance, maybe its just that i like Patricia better in Dream warriors. Interesting none the less.I'm stoked.

nah i don't think she is begging. To my understanding she's always been a fan of child's play.On the old Rob England forum the admin posted a video interview of her.In the interview she expressed her love for the first Childs play movie. This is her chance to be in a Mancini directed Child's Play i guess.

I'm all for it, I love the idea of slasher alumni, crossing films. I don't think I want her as the lead protagonist, I just can't see it, but she shoudl definately be in the film.
