The first sequel in the Hellraiser franchise centers on Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence) in a quest to release her father, who she believes sent her a message from Hell. For the most part, the film strays away from the original Cotton family storyline that was the focus in the original, and incorporates a number of new characters, namely Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham), who has been studying the Lament Configuration for years. Dr.Channard’s interest leads him to help Julia (Clare Higgins) rise up and out of Hell and into a situation similar to Frank Cotton’s in the original film. Once Julia has sucked enough carcasses clean, she brings Dr. Channard to Hell, where Kirsty and a young girl named Tiffany (Imogen Boorman), who has a talent for solving puzzles, follow. Dr. Channard is eventually turned into a Cenobite and faces off with Pinhead (Doug Bradley) and the other Cenobites towards the end of film. Pinhead loses, due to a reminder from Kirsty earlier that he and the other Cenobites were once human. Tiffany eventually solves the puzzle and leaves Hell with Kirsty. According to the audio commentary in the 2001 release of the film, the final scene was supposed to feature Julia rising out of the bloody mattress and continue her role in the franchise’s numerous sequels. Pinhead’s popularity, and Higgins' disinterest in continuing in future Hellraiser films resulted in the final shot resembling the original film’s conclusion with the same phrase: “What’s your pleasure sir?” being spoken.

In a way I could agree. So it gets the highest number from me.. I love the halls..... so dark and never knowing which one will take you where. That is one reason I like the movie.
